Lightheaded & Dizzy?
Anyone get this? I'm 16 weeks. I was in the middle of teaching a lesson and needed to take a seat bc I thought I was going to fall. I called my doctor, waiting for a call back. Just wondering how I'm going to function at work for the next 3.5 hours.

I used to get it with morning sickness, but I haven't had morning sickness in a while. That stopped around 12 weeks. This was just scary like I was drunk dizziness

smart to call the dr - its probably nothing but i think it could be blood pressure related
it happened to me and it was bc i wasnt drinking/eating enough
i carry a granola bar with me at all times and also some water
i try to make my self snack on something every 2-3 hours and it helps

I got that from time to time this pregnancy. I have low BP to begin with (normal though) and it tends to be even lower during pregnancy. As pp said call doctor to be safe and make sure you're drinking enough water and eating enough. I also get like that (still at 37 weeks) when I go too long in between meals or snacks.

Yes, I got that too. Doctor said because things are moving and shifting and affecting blood flow. Have snacks regularly and alternate between sitting and sitting.

yup i had this too around that time....i actually almost passed out! it was scary!!
it happened to me first thing in the morning so my OB said i need to eat something right away so i get something in my system. since then i've been eating a nutrigrain bar and drinking a glass of water in the morning & i've been fine!

Yes. I get this when I walk around a store or the mall. Dr. said it's pregnancy related.

I got it a few times in the 2nd tri. Recently I was sitting at work chatting with a coworker and began seeing stars. THAT was weird, lol.

I get this- usually increasing my fluid intake helps. My OB said it is normal during pregnancy. Her advice was to change positions slowly.

Thanks for all the responses. I'm happy I called my doctor, because it did end up being blood pressure related. My BP was really low. Also, when they did my CBC they found that my white blood count was really elevated so there was a lot more tests to be done.
