this week my baby is the size of....
i feel like we havent had this thread in a while (or maybe i missed it)...but i came across the
"dad edition" and wanted to share
Week 17: Toilet Paper Roll
Average size: 5.1 inches, 5.9 ounces
This week, baby’s as big as that toilet paper roll in your bathroom; your partner might be able to feel him moving around now.
and the usual:
17 weeks: Your baby is about the size of a turnip
Your little turnip now weighs about 5 ounces and is roughly 5 inches long from head to bottom.

I'm 19 weeks!
size: 6 inches, 8.5 ounces
Baby’s getting bigger! Now he’s as big as that tissue box on your nightstand.
your baby's the size of a mango!
At about 6.0 inches long and weighing in at about 8.5 ounces, she's getting there!

this week my baby is the size of....
I LOVE the dad version, just a few days ago I was telling my husband that our baby was the size of an avocado, in a few days I'm using the TP roll.. he is more familiar with that lol

Weeks 25 to 28: Lunch Box
Average size: 13.6 inches, 1.5 to 2.2 pounds
At this point, your partner has moved from trimester two to three, and baby’s as big as a kid’s lunch box. Not quite the 2nd tri yet...
Your Baby: Week 26
At week 26, baby may be interfering with your sleep, messing with your brain (forget much?), and even be giving you a stress headache or two. It’s normal to be experiencing some mild swelling, but around this week, it’s important to watch out for swelling severe or sudden -- it could be the sign of a dangerous condition called preeclampsia.

I love the Dad version, makes more sense to me than fruits LOL
I am 12w6d so my cutie is somewhere between a wine corke and an espresso cup (yum to both)

size: 4.6 inches, 3.5 ounces
Yup, now baby’s as big as your cell phone.
And on baby center- baby is the size of an avocado

I love t he dad version. My husband was asking for this!
I have a loaf of sliced bread :) and boy does he feel like it. So uncomfortable!!!

Same here! 31 weeks 2 days so loaf of bread for dad version or coconut!

Weeks 33-36: Ukulele
Average Size: 17.2 to 18.7 inches, 4.2 to 5.8 pounds
Yup, she’s as big as that mini guitar during these weeks. And she could gain up to an inch in the 33rd week alone.
and of course the fruit comparison....
34 weeks: Your baby is about the size of cantaloupe
Your melon-sized munchkin now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds and is almost 18 inches long from head to heel.
