First Birthday party Help
My DD will be 1 in Feb.
We are having her birthday party at a restaurant, her theme will be Winter ONEderland. Everything will be mostly snowflakes, Snowmen, Penguin's.....stuff like that.
The table centerpiece will be a huge tree with snowflakes hanging from the branches. the tree will be surrounded by fake snow.
Here is my problem - i have no idea what to do as the favor. It can't be edible (See below) I'd like to stick to the winter theme for the favor, but if anyone has any other ideas, it would be appreciated!
I will be making sugar cookies in the shape of snowflakes and decorating them and attaching them to sticks so that they look like giant lollipops. I'll make enough for every person to take home. I'll also be making chocolates, in this winter theme as well, enough for each person.
I am inviting about 25-30 people. only 5 of them will be children and they are older kids, over 10. I'm not doing different gift bags for them.
FWIW: this party is going to be for a bunch of old school, italian family members. there MUST be a tangible favor, so not having one is not an option.

this is actually a great idea, but i guess i should have added that i can't spend an arm and a leg on each favor. I've already looked up snow globes and none of them are under $20 pp which is way more than I am willing to spend.

You don't have to pay for shipping if you come out to Syosset to pick them up. I think they have great stuff, and they make the satin name ribbons there. They're gorgeous.
Also, right after Christmas, see if anyone has snowmen figurines on clearance.... maybe you can get away cheap with ones that aren't too christmassy.

Theres a Christmas tree shop in SI they will def have them.
In Brooklyn theres an endless amount of .99 cent stores look there for snowglobes too!
