What happened w/ your 2nd?

With my first I never went into labor, was induced 7 days late bc of low fluid, and had a c-section 9 days late after a failed induction.

I'll be scheduling a c-section at 39 weeks this time, but this pregnancy has been the exact opposite of my last pregnancy & I'm starting to worry I'll go early & be unprepared...

Never went into labor with my dd and was induced at 41 weeks. With my ds I had my membranes stripped at 40 weeks and scheduled my induction for 2 days later at the same time. When I went for the induction I was losing my mucus plug so if I had waited a bit longer I might have gone into labor on my own but I was so done!

I'm curious about this too! I was induced at 8 days late with DD. Had her the next morning. I'm 37 weeks now. I feel like I have a least another 3 weeks in me, but who knows.

I was induced a few days before my due date with DD1 due to low fluids. I was nowhere near ready and it took almost 48 hours.

DD2 was 4 days late (but on her actual due date based on when I thought I ovulated) and went into labor on my own.

I was induced with DS 1 and had a vaginal birth. I went into labor on my own about 2 weeks early with DS 2.

I was induced with DS #1 at 40 weeks 4 days. I wound up with a c-section. This time around I had a scheduled c-section at 39 weeks but my water broke 4 days before that so DS#2 was born at 38 weeks 4 days.

Induced first time 9 days early b/c og HBP. Induced with DC#2 the day before by due date b/c BP had been going up again. Both fairly easy inductions although the 2nd was easier than the first.

I did not go into labor on my own with DS. I was induced with cervadil at 3 days late. After 24 hours, nothing happened. I was given the option to go home or to continue with pitocin. Since I didn't want a C-section, i went home. I was induced a second time at 10 days late. Again they started with cervadil, then pitocin. Nothing major was happeneing and I was not feeling any contractions. I was barely 50 % effaced and maybe 2 centimeters dialated. The doctor finally broke my water. After about 5 hours I had very little progress so we just decided on a c-section. I was so exhausted and I didn't want an emergency c section.

Based on my last experience, with this kid, I have a scheduled c section. My ob says i am not a good candidate for a vbac. That being said, my c section is scheduled 1 day before my due date. I am 36 weeks and this pregnancy does feel different this time around. This baby has dropped (which DS had not) and I feel a LOT more pressure down there. Taking it day by day for now.

This is my fear! I guess I definitely need a plan for DD and to be bag packed and ready early just in case this happens to me too!
