Has anyone been to the Bayville Winter Wonderland?
I'm wondering if its age appropriate for a one year old. Looking for fun Christmas activities for my DS!

We went last year. IMO not worth it. They have a short train ride pictures with Santa a glow in the dark walk through and a walk through in a light show.

I've never been, but if you do decide to go, there is currently a LivingSocial deal for it! We just bought it!

I've never been but I didn't hear great things about it. I was going to buy the Living Social deal last year but then saw some bad reviews, I think on here actually, so I decided not to.

I did a forum search for it, and everyone bashed it. I also read on another search that the ice in the skating rink isn't real... it's called Glice, synthetic ice....? Maybe they have changed it since it opened, but DH and I decided not to go based on reviews.

Re: Has anyone been to the Bayville Winter Wonderland?
I read somewhere online that last year was a bad year for that place bc they were still recovering from Hurricane Sandy. I believe their own website promotes a real ice rink. I'll still wait until next year but if my DCs were older I'd prob grab a Living Social deal & do it this year.
ETA: I've been there for drinks in Summer & the Halloween attractions & have always had fun, but have never been for the winter attractions.

Its not real ice. They give the kids skates but not the sharp real ice skates. DH went on the ice with his sneakers. Also, we went after Sandy and I didn't notice much was closed..it just was not exciting.
