GSSC Holiday Lights Show?
Has anyone done this? I mean, it isn't expensive, $15 per car on the weekends but is it worth it. Can your child sit on your lap as you drive...because if they are in a car seat what's the point really?LINK

GSSC Holiday Lights Show?
I hear great things about it but I'm curious how well a RF child would see anything?

Re: GSSC Holiday Lights Show?
We have been in the past and it's great. I don't think a RF child will see anything though. The displays are big enough to see out the window, so if they are forward facing, they don't need to sit on your lap. Whether or not you take them out depends on your comfort level. The cars drive like 10mph.

We did it tonight. I wouldn't let me kids sit on my lap I'd be afraid someone could rear end you. My oldest 3 loved it she sits ff. My little one sits rf she is 18 months and was calling out different things she could see. Its a fun Holiday thing to do and its cheap. Also the Santa they have in the holiday village afterwards was soo nice. They don't rush you like the mall.

Re: GSSC Holiday Lights Show?
We just went tonight, it was nice. A little long of a wait to get in which was annoying but it was pretty. My DD (5) loooooved it.
It's worth it for $15........just get there earlier than later. By the time we left the line was all the way down the block and 1/2 mile down the main road. Crazy.
DS is 8 months and sat on my lap so he could see. Honestly, you're barely moving faster than an idle so I felt safe enough. Everyone moved slowly.

We went last night and DD loved it! Just get there early bc the line gets long. There is also a place at the end where you can park and see santa. They also sell cookies and hot chocolate.
