frank breech at 30 weeks?
Got a sono yesterday and baby is frank breech. I am 30 weeks...is there a good chance that baby will turn head down? The sono tech didn't seem nervous but of course I am thinking about it.... does anyone have experience with this? And I've read methods to help the baby turn...has anyone had success with anything in particular?

My DS was frank breech the whole time. Never turned. Nothing helped, and I ended up with a csection.

Try the webster technique --- there is a chiropractor (or 2) on here that does it. Also check out spinning babies online. Also , moxibustion with a accupuncturist-- you can start now for the best chance of having DC turn.
My DS turned breech at 39 w 5d, I had him turned via external version at 40 wks.
GL!

It's so funny because at my 26-week sono, baby was in position. Then I started feeling hiccups way down low for two weeks. Then two nights ago, before yesterday's appointment, baby was ninja kicking me in my sleep. I think that's when it changed positions. Sono tech said there is enough fluid in there and there is still plenty of time for position change to happen. I am keeping the faith!

My dd was frank breach at 30weeks too. She turned and I had a perfect natural delivery! Good luck I'm sure it will be fine!

Re: frank breech at 30 weeks?
DS was breech b/c the cord was wrapped around his neck 3 times and so he physically couldn't turn. We didn't know this until the the c-section. Not having him turn literally saved his life.

DS was a frank footling breech baby. I partially delivered a foot and his tush, and then had the emergency c/s. Fun times. I did not try for an ECV.

Re: frank breech at 30 weeks?
My DD was frank breech at my 32 week appt. She never turned and DH and I did not want to do a version. She was delivered by C-section and I was very happy with my decision.
