Never heard of that but my dd sucks her thumb and self soothes so that wouldn't work for us.

never saw them and not sure if i would bother getting them
to break the swaddle habit, we just took one arm out for a few nights, then both. it was a piece of cake - and didnt need to spend money on any additional blankets/swaddles which is a plus. from what this looks like, you would purchase this when you are done using swaddles?
also, dd would grab a blankie, her pacifier or her thumb, so this wouldnt work for us.

Yes my cousin used it on her daughter for a while and loved it. I bought one and used it maybe once or twice and that was it.
