CD Player for kid's room? Also - record player rec?

Yes, I have a brand new iPod nano. I don't have the patience to hook it up to iTunes.

I continuously buy CDs because, well, I like to.

Any recs for a small compact one? I plan on using it A LOT. Please don't tell me to get an iDock or something.



And record player recs for the basement. Just a record player - no stereo or combo units.

What about a clock radio with a CD player. And as for a record player.....not sure they really make them anymore.

We have a small CD player, I got it at Family Dollar or the like a couple of years ago. Works fine, and we use it all the time. No itunes, etc. here!
