We told our families!

I forgot to update! We told our parents and siblings on thanksgiving! They are all so excited, and their reactions were priceless. It's the first baby on both sides of the family, which I think makes it even more special.

Grandparents will be next after our first appointment and sonogram on Thursday. I can't wait!!

We planned to announce on Thanksgiving too, but we chickened out! Well... DH chickened out. He was talking to my dad that morning and my dad kept bringing up how much the two of us have going on right now, and that he hopes we're not too overwhelmed and stressed. We DO have a lot going on.. we're in the process of buying a house and DH is interviewing for a new job, among other things. So DH pulled me aside and said I don't think we should tell them yet!! If they think we have a lot going on now, wait till they hear this!! So we didn't tell.

I was a little bummed at first, but once I thought about it I was glad b/c now I've had my appt and we have ultrasound photos and confirmation that everything is going well. Debating if we can hold out another 3 weeks for a Christmas announcement!
