Re: fisher price toys - 9+ month old
My friend got the laugh and learn chair for her daughter's 1st birthday. i wasn't blown away by it and her daughter didn't care to sit in it. but she liked standing next to it and flipping the pages in that book. i think a child would like the car better.

I think I'd prefer an Anywhere Chair to the FP seat. It looks kind of similar to an activity table but with a seat?
The car looks like more fun. But does it actually move or does LO just sit in it?

i was thinking of getting the car for my friends son but im torn. it got great reviews but doesnt seem much than some simple toys in a shape of a car. im affraid it will take too much space. the car also doesnt move.

My parents are getting the car for DD. She will be 10 months. It got great reviews and even though it doesn't move, there seems like a lot to keep them stimulated.

My mom got the car for my son for Chanukkah and there is alot of things to keep him busy (he is 9 months old) but it does take up a lot of room.
A friend had the chair and it was cute but not as much to keep my son busy.

I would go with the car. I wish they had something like that when my boys were younger, I think they would have loved it.
