fireplace gate
does anyone have one they recommend?
our new house has a brick fireplace - that has a small step leading up to it. dd loves to climb and pull on things so i need something sturdy

I have this. Also bought the extension set to go with it. It attaches to the wall. Works perfectly and does not get hot when the fire is roaring. I also use it free standing around the Christmas tree.
I have a fireplace as pictured, and it is about 8 feet long
