1st birthday options

we are on a very limited budget so it looks like we've narrowed dd's party to 2 places

once place has better food options (basically order off the menu anything from brunch options, to salads, to burgers and quesadillas)
the downside to this place is that the room would be small. they will only accommodate 55 and we are looking at 52 (which includes 5 kids)

the second option is strictly a brunch party but the private space is large enough to accommodate 75
if we went with this option we would somehow note on the invite that its a "brunch" party

assuming everything else equal (price, service, food quality) wwyd?
im throwing in option c to keep looking, but i really dont think there is anything else out there in our budget

1st birthday options

Food is always top when I make a decision so I'd go with A based on that factor.

I happen to love brunch so I would pick that option. As long as the quality of food is good I don't think it's that important for there to be a zillion options.

Re: 1st birthday options

Personally, quality/tastiness of food matters to me more than whether I have options and what meal type it is.,food is important to me - I'd go where it's yummiest!

I think a brunch is fine, sit down meal wouldn't be my cup of tea

1st birthday options

Whatever meal gets people talking and discussing. In my opinion (some people don't agree) a first birthday party should be light and fun. I chose not to have a sit-down dinner. I did family style instead.

My venue was tight, and I regret not having a little more room. I hired an entertainment company to come in, and they're so great, I wish they could have had more room to do more Chat Icon I knew this going into it, but my budget was so tight, I didn't have much choice.
