typical cost of all inclusives?
what is the normal price for a family of 4 for an all inclusive?
everywhere I've looked is about 5k-7k. Is that the norm?
(obviously I know there are more expensive ones but the cheapest seem to be 6k).

Cheapest AI is going to be in DR... We went this past may and we paid $2200 for 7 day vacation with flights for 2 people.

Please be careful in the DR - there are reasons their resorts are the most affordable. I'm not trying to knock the country as a whole, but their all-inclusive resorts are not as safe as resorts in other countries. It's not worth the money you'll be saving, IMO.

We went to an AI for our honeymoon in 2011. I want to say we paid around $6500 for everything for 10 days, don't quote me though.
I will say that I looked into a lot of different places to book and cheapcarribean.com had the lowest prices. Definitely check them out.

We paid a little more to go to Jamaica- about $2600. We paid about $2100 in DR. That's for flights with 2 people.
