Questions about doing a NB photo shoot.

We didn't do one for my DD bc we were moving 2 weeks after she was born and it was a hectic time. We did get 1 year pics done w/ an awesome professional photographer.

I'm debating doing them for this baby but feel bad that he'll have NB pics and DD won't. (silly, I know).

Since we didn't do then for dd, if I do them for ds, I definitely don't want to spend a lot of money. Well take him to the same photographer who did Dd for her 1st birthday, to get him 1st birthday pics when the time comes.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive (maybe newer to the profession) NB photographer? I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just some nice natural shots, and maybe a few of DD w/ DS. Some prints on a disc. I know NB shoots are more money to begin w/ bc they are long and difficult. So I don't even know what a good price is? If anyone wants to PM me what they paid, that would help too.

We used Kelly from All Seasons Photography. She is very reasonably priced and gives you a cd of all the images (edited and non-edited ones)

I wanted pics when DS was born, but it was 7 weeks before he came home. Money was tight and I could not afford what some photogs were charging. I looked on craigslist and found some newer photogs starting out. Spoke to a few, looked at their work and chose one. I paid $150 for an in home shoot, cd with 15 color and 15 b&w photos on it. Really liked the work she did.
Look on craigslist for photogs, you never know what you can find.
