3D 4D Ultrasound- insurance civerage
Did your insurance cover you for3d sono? I just read that its not covered at all. I have Empire NYS.

my insurance did not - they consider that elective
but the place i go for my ultrasound has the 3d technology so they always do a few pics for me in 3d when i go - its just not the full 20 min scan in 3d

I happened to know the person who was doing the sono so he did a 3D sono. While I thought it was cool I am glad I didn't pay. Personally I thought it was weird and preferred it the other way. LOL

Nope, it is elective and not covered by insurance.

Not covered, but to us, it was worth paying OOP. It's not expensive and it's a really cool experience.
