6 months

how are your 6 months old doing?

what are they eating and how much are they eating?

are their bottle oz. starting to decrease?

how many naps? has the number of naps decreased and/or the time napping increased?


teeth? crawling?


dd has four 8 oz bottles but has not been finishing the last one (maybe has about 5 oz). she has oatmeal in the am and then oatmeal and a fruit or veggie in the pm.
she naps anywhere from 1-3 times a day and each one is anywhere from 20-60 min
teeth hopefully anyday bc she randomly screams, chews on everything and her nose is running like crazy.
she gets up on her knees and rocks but hasn't moved forward yet.

6 months

She eats 4-5 bottles a day. Between 4-6ozs. She has cut back. She eats 4ozs of solids 2x a day. She is army crawling and rocking back and forth. She talks incessantly and is getting her first tooth. She gets 2 naps but she fights the 2nd nap. She is definitely more fussy than she was a month ago.

DS is 6 1/2 months. He started crawling the other day and lifting him up into furniture. I was an early walker so I think he will be too. Started to babyproof already. He eats 4 8 oz. bottles and always finishes them. I have a feeling he would eat forever if I let him? I also give him solids twice a day. we've done fruits, veggies, oatmeal, yogurt and ped just suggested chicken so I made him some too. He naps twice a day and had been for a while. Anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours each. Sleeps 8 to 8 usually. He weighs almost 18 pounds and almost 28 inches. Had 3 bottom teeth and getting his first upper one.

6 months

My DD is a little over 6 months and is just sitting up on her own - not even close to crawling!

She is still EBF, and gets 3 3-4oz bottles while I am at work (roughly every 3 hours). She eats cereal in the morning and a fruit or veggie in the late afternoon.

She got her bottom 2 teeth at 5 months, and the top 2 are about to break through. She babbles all day!

6 months

DD is 6 months on Friday. She is starting to army crawl and can sit up herself. No point in putting a blanket or play mat down as she is off it in 2 seconds.
She is talking constantly now too.
She drinks 5 6oz bottles everyday. I have been trying for 2 months now to get her to eat but she does not like the be spoon fed. She puts her tongue out and i can only get about 2 spoons in. I have treid everything at this stage. Oatmeal, rice, both mixed with fruit, fruit, vegies, yogurt but nothing works. I will keep trying in the hopes that someday she will eat food.

She sleeps 12 hours everynight and naps 1 or 2 times everyday.

My DD will be 6 months on Thursday. She is currently taking 3 6oz bottles while I'm at work, and nurses twice after work and once in the morning. She started solids last month so we are still pretty new with that, but she's been getting one meal of solids every day. Napping is on her schedule, we don't really have a set schedule, but typically she'll take a nap about an hour after she eats. She can sleep anywhere from 20 min to 2 hours! She doesn't have any teeth yet, but chews on just about anything she can get her little hands on. She is very active and talks and babbles up a storm. She is very perceptive and can figure things out pretty quickly. She loves attention and is developing quite a little personality. She isn't crawling yet, but rolls all over the place. I have a feeling she is going to be a real handful in a few months!
