Feelling the baby
When were you (or others) able to feel the baby from the outside of your belly?
I'm 26 weeks and my husband has not been able to feel him kick yet.
I feel him constantly on the inside but would like my husband to feel on the outside too.
I am plus sized, so I think that is why he hasn't yet.

Re: Feelling the baby
I am 23 weeks and although I feel like the kicks are SO strong my DH still has a hard time feeling them - he sometimes feels it but sometimes not. I think it feels much stronger to us but it will take a little bit more time for them!

Outside the belly...probably not till the late 20s...and DH always claimed he never really felt him move even then.

Re: Feelling the baby
My husband started feeling the baby kick at almost 21 weeks. Some times the baby is more active than others, but I feel the most activity when I first sit down to relax at night (or after I eat something sugary). That's when he (and others) have been able to feel the most kicks. Maybe try that? I have an anterior placenta and they said that can cushion some of the kicking, so maybe that's why your husband hasn't felt anything yet.

Re: Feelling the baby
With my first, I didn't even feel him myself until 21w so it had to be much later than that... maybe 25-26w before DH really was able to feel anything.

Feelling the baby
My husband felt a kick at 16 weeks! Now at 21 weeks I'm even starting to see the movement if I'm laying down

I hope so! I get nervous not feeling anything. I mean, I'm still exhausted all the time and nothing's changed, but i still can't wait to feel it. Have a minor appointment tomorrow, just NP for weight check and hopefully will hear the heart again. Otherwise I will have to wait 3-4 weeks for the anatomy scan.

Feelling the baby
I'm plus sized too and 28 weeks.. I'd say my dh felt it like three-four weeks ago but baby usually is active at night.. you can actually see my belly move when I'm laying down.
