1 month schedule
What is your baby's feeding/ sleep schedule. My ds currently eats 4.5 oz every 31/2 hours during the day and then has one big stretch of sleep at night for 7-8 hours. He gets a total of 6 bottles which is about 27 oz total.
Usually I feed him at 10 and then again at 5 am.
How many ounces should he be getting in a day. He is almost 12 pounds.

Re: 1 month schedule
Sounds like a dream baby! If he is sleeping that well at night already, I'd say he's getting the right amount of formula. I am pretty sure my DD was taking a similar amount at that age, every 3-4 hours as well (but through the night too, lol). Congrats, sounds like you're doing everything right!

Re: 1 month schedule
At 1 month my DD was drinking 3-4 ounces every 3 hrs and now she will be 3 months on the 27th she drinks 5 ounces every 4-4 1/2 ounces. Her last feeding is around. 6-7pm and then doesn't wake up till 4-5am for the next feeding. She weighs 12.2lbs. My ped is happy with how much she is drinking and how long she goes between feedings.

He should be getting whatever fills him up. There is no magic number and you cannot compare one baby to the next.
If they are happy and gaining then don't question it.

Re: 1 month schedule
Thanks. My first had all sorts of medical issues and weight gain problems so I am probably over thinking all of this.
