how did your dc act right before they cut their first tooth?

dd is having random outbursts of hysterically crying (followed by totally normal behavior and laughing), drooling and runny nose like crazy and has had loose stool for the past 2 days.

Hannah kinda acted like that. And she wasnt napping which made it worse. I knew they were coming because her gums were puffy. My other dd had no reaction. We looked one day and there was a white dot popping through and a very puffy gum beginning to pop.

My dd has been very fussy and has not been happy. Her tooth is slowly breaking through.

This sounds like my dd. I'm hoping it's a tooth because then id have an explanation as to why my sweet baby has turned crabby these past few day

He was such a crab for about 2 weeks, and sticking his hands in his mouth more than usual. But I had no idea his teeth had cut at all until he stuck my finger in his mouth. He was a late teether though (11.5 months for his first two), so I was in some denial about it being teething at all.

DS starting drooling nonstop for 2 days before the first tooth came through. He cried more than often and hardly ate anything. Then suddenly his little tooth broke through! Second tooth was a little easier but he stopped eating for longer.
