Very low progesterone on Crinone?

So I just did a 5-day transfer and at only 6dp5dt I fully got my period. This is the first cycle I was on Crinone instead of the PIO injections (3 years ago we did two cycles to have our DD). The clinic did not tell me to come in during my 2ww to test my progesterone levels.

I went in this morning because of my period and at 7dp5dt my progesterone level was under 1, 0.8 to be exact.

Can a low progesterone cause a failure to implant? Or was it more likely that there was no implantation, thus low progesterone?

I've heard that the progesterone helps it after it has implanted but doesn't make it implant.

I thought that you can't go by progesterone levels in the blood when on Crinone b/c that goes directly to the uterus and not through your bloodstream, though I could be wrong.

I'm not sure why your RE wouldn't check your progesterone levels, though, after a transfer. I'd question that.

I'm just really confused with the whole Crinone thing. From what I just learned (via google!) it's like the PP stated - it goes directly to your uterus and doesn't really show up in your bloodstream. But in that case, how do you know if you have a progesterone issue?

I didn't have any progesterone level problems when I was pregnant with my DD, but I was also on PIO, so who knows.

I asked my re this yesterday. Crinone is NOT reflected in bw. It goes straight to uterus. This cycle rE thought my level was too low, and gave me PIO as well, but he said it was just a safe guard.

Also - for me my chemical he said was unrelated to P levels. I don't think it would prevent implantation if you were on crinone.
