Elf on the Shelf
At what age did you introduce it if you did? I was going to hold off until next year but my husband wants to start it this year. Our DD is going to be 20 months.

The Christmas DS was 2. He was 25 months when Elf came. He was able to grasp the concept and it was lots of fun.

When DD was 2. She had a lot of fun looking for him every morning. She's 4 now and can't wait for him to come after Thanksgiving!

She is almost 3.5 and we started this year.
She really gets it this year.
Last year I feel she wouldn't have gotten it so much at close to 2.5

We just bought one. Waiting to introduce him until the day after Thanksgiving. My kids are 3 and 4.

I posted something similar awhile ago and ultimately decided to wait 1 more year. DD will be 2 1/2 at Christmas, and I know she would have a blast looking for the Elf, but I want her to REALLY get the point of it. Also, I know she would want to hug and cuddle the Elf, bc she wants to hug and cuddle everything these days, and touching him is off limits. Lol!
I plan to I introduce him next year, watch the movie and really go all out.

I think I started when my oldest was three and second was 2 but I don't think my son got it until the second year!
My third will be 2 two weeks before Christmas this year and I doubt she'll get it!
But hopefully she have fun with her older brother and sister who are 6 and almost 5 yrs
