Bad haircuts a week before Christmas pics - is it worth delaying a few weeks if possible?
Soooo...I have 13-month old b/g twins. Was only going to get ds haircut but husband and hairdresser talked me into also dd. ugh- I am kicking myself for not sticking to my guns!! (first haircuts for both.)
I told hairdresser not to take off too much. DD was sitting on dh's lap. I stupidly stepped back to take pics and she cut off all her curls and made her look like a boy!!
She also gave ds a crew cut which I'm liking less and less.
Do you think a few weeks would help? I don't know how fast baby hair grows.
Right now, I'm scheduled for this Sat for their pics.

I would be upset too but thank goodness its only hair and it will grow back soon enough. I don't think a few weeks will make a huge difference as far as hair growth goes. I'd get some really cute headbands for your dd.

Honestly, I'd go for it. Make the best of it. I know you are upset now, but think of it 20 years from now. You will laugh your butt off when you break out the pictures and remember the time you got those terrible haircuts before Christmas.

Id be upset too, but maybe people wont think its thats bad. One time my son had a haircut that I thought was bad, but my DH loved it.

I would be upset too! A family member has the same experience and she put Santa hats on her kids to hide their hair!

this happened to us last year right before BILs wedding (they gave DS a crewcut in November... huh?)
I was so sad/mad. Almost in tears at the barber shop. It was mid-fall and my kids head was pretty much shaved and he was about to be the ring bearer in my BILs wedding.
I got over it. It happened, we moved on. Nothing you can do now.
Embrace it ... you can laugh about it later (like I do about DS' crewcut now)
