BIrthday Parties
We went to check out a couple places today. We really liked the new childrens safari place in Valley Stream, but , not that its any more expensive than other places. Its just crazy how much these places charge for a kids party. And having a January child.... no choice.

Re: BIrthday Parties
I know! This is the year we are starting to have it somewhere else for my oldest (4 yrs as well) and its expensive but Im chalking it up to only being 1x a year and as he gets older, I'll let him select 2 or 3 friends to do something super fun as his bday celebration. But also in the future when the kids can come to parties without their parents, I can do stuff at the house. My DS #1's bday is very close to Halloween so I cant wait to do a costume party but right now I cant have family, nieces, nephews, classmates and their parents all at my house.
Im looking forward to no setting up or cleaning up for a party honestly.

Re: BIrthday Parties
Hi, Just an idea for you... My cousin is having her sons 4th birthday at a Burger King. It is the one in Wantagh. I didn't even know that they did that. It has an idoor play area, the party is 2 hours long and everyone get a kids meal. You can bring your own cake and decorations. Get this, the cost is only $7 per child...... That sounds great to me. This year I spent $700 for dd 2nd birthday at the Party Jungle in Commack...I will definately be scaling down for next year! Good Luck.
