Re: The great food debate
I started my older DS on cereal at around 4 months. I'm going to wait a bit longer with my twins, probably around 6 months or so.

Re: The great food debate
I started only on oatmeal at 4 months. It was mostly just to practice eating.

The great food debate
I started with oatmeal at 6 months. Then right on to adding fruits and veggies but we stayed at one meal a day until 7 months, then three meals at 8 months.

4 months. But it really depens on your baby. The should be food ready. Showing signs of ready to eat. If they are not food ready it will not be a good experience for your or the baby.

Re: The great food debate
Just shy of 6 months and honestly wish I waited longer. I don't think DD was ready and it was not a good experience.

The great food debate
One night DS was sitting on DH's lap and he leaned forward and opened his mouth as if he was going to take a bite of his pizza... we figured he was ready for oatmeal He was a little over 4 months at the time and the ped said to go for it.

We started at 4.5 months and DS wasn't ready but tried again at closer to 5 months and he was.
