Has anyone used Dr Sung (Mineola) as a RE? Good or bad?

Trivax is my dr. But Sung had done my 2nd iui and my water sono/ mock transfer. I think she is good but she does not sugar coat, can be blunt and kind of cold. So if you are overly sensitive she might hurt your feelings, I don't think she means to thou. She was very thorough with my iui, took the time (unlike the dr who did my first) to get it right. This is all JMO of course.

Re: Dr Sung
She is very skilled with procedures. Never was uncomfortable or in pain. Blunt is a great word to describe her. She is not sweet or emotional about things- very direct and to the point. This was an issue when I had repeated losses but overall, she's brilliant. I wish I can say I am pregnant because of her but I am not yet. :/

Re: Dr Sung
She did a few of my IUIs. Like the others said she seems pretty cold and short. She seems to know her stuff but Like most of the doctors at RSNY she didn't give me much of her time. Good luck!

Re: Dr Sung
I'm not a fan of the woman Drs. at RSofNY. She actually did my first IUI and was pretty friendly for that. But other than that, I find the women Drs. there to be less than pleasant lol
BUT they are good Drs. and know their stuff. There are women on here who are happy with them.
The men, I love them. Stelling is my #1. I am very happy with the treatment I get at RSofNY.

Re: Dr Sung
She did my IUI yesterday and I have met with her before to go over some results. I think she is really knowledgable and I actually don't mind her bedside manner. She does tell it like it is though, but I feel all the REs at RSofNY do.
Good Luck!

I like Dr. Sung, but this is exactly how I feel about the other 2....Bray and Saketos were cold and abrasive to me. Bray almost made me cry.

She is not everyone's cup of tea. It depends on what type of dr you want. I love Saketos and I know some people do not like her. Sometimes you just need to meet with them once and you will know if they are right for you.

I agree-I think she's very smart and knows what she is doing but not the best bedside manner. I am not a crier either despite this whole process but a few things rubbed me wrong way. Like when she called me in to go over results and never told me to bring ganirelex then as were speaking she tells me I need to take ganirelex now. I told her I didn't have it on me and she's like, well you need it now you better go home and get it then. I said it's not as easy as it sounds I'm a teacher and am already late. Her response. You have no choice you need to take it now. Later I find out she could've given me a shot there from their stash and I couldve replaced it when I came back. THAT pissed me off. Saketos is another one. She did my retrieval and looked like she couldn't even be bothered. My SO who likes everyone- she'd unbend him the wrong way.

ugh yeah, you would die if you heard my story. And the way she told me what happened you would think she was talking about what she had for breakfast.

Re: Dr Sung
Sorry I didn't quote that correctly, Sung was very nice. She did one transfer for me and I found her rather pleasant.
