Re: everynight is booked in disney next week
I'm going next week too! We're staying five nights and I only booked two dinners like 6 weeks ago. I looked at the website yesterday and noticed several places with times like 5ish available. But you know what, don't even stress about it. I went four years ago and only had two or three dinners planned and still we walked in to restaurants on the other nights. You could try calling once you're there so you can see if a walk-in is a possibility.

Re: everynight is booked in disney next week
when are you going? we leave thursday and come home on tues.
You are probably right. My fil is meeting us there 1 day in the MK so I thought it would be nice to grab dinner but I can't find anything. I even called but they were no help. Well they said go to the resorts but I was hoping to stay in the park.

Check every day - a lot of people cancel at the last minute.

Re: everynight is booked in disney next week
I hate to say it but next surprised since it is a holiday weekend it will be more crowded and places are probably booked solid if it has dates that coincided with free dining (not sure but thought they extended it). We always book but then cancel if we find we don't want or don't need. Keep checking as people will cancel as it gets closer and they change plans. It is also easier to go from 3-4 people than say 4-5 etc. So that might be why you cannot just add one.
Liberty tree is okay. It is family style dinner. I hear it is better than Tony's but we haven't tried tony's before. We ate at liberty tree several years ago and it was ok. I don't think any of the MK restaurants are fabulous though. I would eat there again if I wanted a sit down in the MK.

Re: everynight is booked in disney next week
Same thing happened to me, but check every day. I was able to get a lunch reservation at Tusker House in AK the night before. Quickly grabbed it and it was a great experience seeing all the characters.
Also, you should be able to get into Hollywood and Vine. They don't always book up and that was my boy's fav. Lots of Disney Jr characters along with songs and they dance.

we have the Vine booked for lunch on Sunday, excited for that.
I know it's just I already have it and they can't add a seat you know? I called them but we are staying there so maybe I'll ask when we check in.
I did get the crystal palace randomly at 4:55 the other day not sure if i'm keeping it. I ddin't relaize it was character meal. Not sure what to do. We already have 2 character meals palnned

Re: everynight is booked in disney next week
How many people are you booking for is it 3 adding one to make 4 or 4 adding one to make 5? Three adding one is easier although they do have some 3 top tables at some restaurants. They generally cannot add a chair to make a 4 top a 5 but again it depends on the table and seating configuration. The only other thing I can figure is they put adrs in by x number of 2 tops, x number of 3 tops etc. You can definitely show and ask but be prepared for them to say no. Go earlier than the 15 mins they tell you to check in by. You might have to wait longer too.

another question sorry Re: everynight is booked in disney next week
Ok, if fil meets us for 1 1/2-2 days what's the best ticket for him.
We are going to MK Fri whoch cloese at7 b/c of the xmas parade, then animal kingdom on sat.
If he only park tickets each day, can we go to dinner in a different park? So let's say MK fri but we ant dinner in Animal kingdom, can he do both with reservations? I'm guessing not. Can he get a 2 day hopper pass?

anthoer question at bottom sorry everynight is booked in disney next week
He would need the hopper option added to his ticket. For 2 days, to add the hopping option would be an additional $62.84

He would definitely need a park hopper. You can't get into any park with just meal reservations, you need admittance too.
But maybe you can do dinner at a hotel instead of in a second park.
