My 4 year old just learned how to make himself burp. He does it whenever he can. I have told him not to burp unless he has to really burp. He has a sensitive gag reflex and a sensitive stomach and sooner or later, him making himself burp is going to cause him to vomit.. Not fun...

Tonight he was doing it in the car on the way home and when we got home he said his belly hurt. Right above his belly button area. He was very pale and I figured he was going to get sick. He went right upstairs when we got home... Can forcing himself to burp cause stomach aches?
