Vaccination Spacing
For those of you who spaced out vaccinations- how did you work out a schedule? I'm not looking to not vaccinate- just to space them farther apart. I would prefer to not have more than 1 at each visit. Any advice? Thank you!

Vaccination Spacing
I space dds out. I split her 2 month and 4 months etc. so I have to go back at 3 months and 5 months etc for the shots remaining from the previous visit. I didn't want her to have more than 2 shots in a visit. I did not break up the combo shots.

Re: Vaccination Spacing
I went every month for I think 9 months. I started at 2 weeks with the hep b. i had the dtap done with the oral (roto virus) at 2 1/2 months. then at 3 1/2 months did 2 shots. that repeated through 6 months etc. No more than two in a month. I'm also delaying the mmr until at least 2 1/2-3 & possibly delaying the chicken pox one as well until she's a bit older. Hth!

Re: Vaccination Spacing
We do no more than 2 shots per visit but only one of the shots are allowed to be a "new" vaccine. The second shot must be a booster ( something she has had before) or I will then only allow one. I will also allow two boosters but then nothing new.

Vaccination Spacing
We do 2 at a time. She's in daycare so she has to be up to date do I space them out by 2 weeks. She had one shot at 5m and at 6m she gets 3 shots so she'll get 2 that day and 1 two weeks later.

Re: Vaccination Spacing
We did 2 at a time so were basically at the peds every month till 9 months. 1 at a time would have been almost impossible

This is what my peds office does. The only time DS and DD got more then two was when one was the rotovirus (oral) and two were actually shots.
We went every month from one to six months, then eight months, ten months and a year.
I can pull out the exact schedule if you'd like.

Re: Vaccination Spacing
Our ped does 2 per mo. We only skipped flu last time (2weeks ago) now we go today for half dose and back 6 mo. If you want just 1 just tell them. They will tell you when to come back. We went once a month for them til 9 mo then 12 mo. Next 15.

I did 1 a month and recently started doing 1 every 3 months at her well visits.
Discuss with your peds and im sure he will do what your comfy with and tell you which ones are necessary right now vs which ones can be delayed. .
