12-14 month olds
Hey ladies I have some questions!
How is whole milk transition going? Do you warm the whole milk or serve it cold? How much does your LO drink of of whole milk a day? Are you solely on a sippy cup or do you still give bottles? If you still give bottles what do you put in there - whole milk or formula? Or do you still breastfeed? How many oz is your LO taking a day if you combine totally number of whole milk and formua?

Re: 12-14 month olds
My DS is older but this is how he was at that age
How is whole milk transition going? He is lactose sensitive so we tried whole but ended up on lactaid
Do you warm the whole milk or serve it cold? Served cold but I also gave cold water and room temp formula so he didn't have any issues
How much does your LO drink of of whole milk a day? Varies. 2-4 cups and yogurt on certain days. Overall he meets the rec'ed amount for calcium.
Are you solely on a sippy cup or do you still give bottles? stopped with bottles except night.
If you still give bottles what do you put in there - whole milk or formula? Or do you still breastfeed? once you switch to whole milk that's all he got.

Re: 12-14 month olds
DD is just about 13 months. Milk transition is going well, though we are taking it slow. We've been replacing one ounce of formula with one ounce of milk each week. Now she is on half milk, half formula - 4 oz of each, so 8 oz total in each bottle. Still doing bottles for now. She gets 3 bottles, but depending on what's going on during the day, she doesn't always finish her afternoon one. She's probably averaging 20ish oz total in a day. I do warm up the bottles still, but just enough to take the real chill off, not very much.

13 months here. transitioned fine- we did 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 milk until she was fully on. 3 bottles per day, about 24 oz. eta: she will not drink it cold. we still have to warm them.

Re: 12-14 month olds
8-9 oz Lactaid whole at 6:30 am and 7:30 pm. Cold in bottles bc I can't find sippys that won't leak. They get water sippys at meals and drink 1-2 if them full.

So far so good I think. My DD has been on milk for a month now (she 13 months).
I warm it slightly as she doesn't seem a fan of it cold. She was drinking 22 oz of formula so that is how much I give her of the milk. Some days she drinks it all some she leaves a few ounces in each bottle. It all depends on how much food she eats.
Right now she only uses the sippy/straw cups for water.

How is whole milk transition going?
We transitioned very gradually because we were testing out a milk protein allergy, but she took to it without a hitch. She has never been a big drinker though. Do you warm the whole milk or serve it cold? Cold.
How much does your LO drink of of whole milk a day? 10-15 oz, over the course of 4 cups, if I'm lucky! She gets excited to see the milk, then barely drinks.
Are you solely on a sippy cup or do you still give bottles? Transitional Nuk cup. She will only take a few sips from straw cups.
If you still give bottles what do you put in there - whole milk or formula? Or do you still breastfeed? When we were transitioning, we started with 1oz milk to 4 oz formula, then gradually upped it every few days/week. We went slow due to her history of allergy.
How many oz is your LO taking a day if you combine totally number of whole milk and formua? 10-15. Not enough.
