Outfit for outdoors

I really need help figuring out what DD should be wearing these days. I know the rule is one layer more than what I find comfortable, but I have a circulatory disease and I am very cold in any weather below 60.
When it is 60 degrees out what do you put LO in to go for a walk outside?
What about 50 degrees?
We walk a lot but with the weather changing its important to me that she be comfortable, and lately I feel like she is warm.

I've been doing a fleece sweatshirt. Bring an extra blanket on walks and feel her hands. I had my girls in the fleece the other night and they were fine til they drank water then their hands got wet. They cried, we went home.

Ps I never went by that rule. Just dressed them how I dress. I'm always cold and they are always warm.

Go by your DC. Mine is a hot kid and was always sweating. There is not one layer more rule. That's very outdated. You need to go by their cues. They will let you know if they are hot or cold.

My son tends to get very warm easily also and he sweats a lot. The thing about layers is that you dont want baby to start to sweat outside in the cold weather either....know what I mean?
I work full time but on the weekends DS and I love to take early morning walks. This weekend was pretty cool in the morning but I dressed him in his normal long sleeve shirt with a fleece over it and a vest over that. He was plenty warm without sweating.
If you feel like she *might* be under dressed, take along a sweater for her so you dont have to worry if she may get cold later.

ETA: sorry didnt realize your DD is an infant Chat Icon I would definitely bring an extra blanket or something to put over her if you feel like she's not warm enough. But just make sure she doesnt begin to sweat. Chat Icon

It depends on the weather, but right now we've been putting DS in a hat, zip up hoodie (with hood up usually) and in a BundleMe. He's warm enough and cozy!

We have a bundle me which keeps her toasty. I also have a north face hooded fleece jacket if she's not in the bundle me.
