Tuna Fish
My OB said up to 6 oz of canned tuna a week is ok- I haven't had any while pregnant but simply bc it is one of the food I have developed an aversion to.

One can/week is ok. Tuna steak is not ok.
I haven't had any yet, but simply bc I can easily live w/o it. If the craving should arise, I have no problem eating a small can of it occasionally.

My doc said no more than once a week. He said with chunk light tuna, you can get away with slightly more because it's lower in mercury.

Yes, I only eat the chunk light, even when not pregnant, b/c it has less mercury.

Re: Tuna Fish
My OB said none and he is pretty lax about other stuff. He used to say once a week but then changed it to none, he said something about the lack of monitoring on tuna. Who knows, but since he is pretty laid back on almost everything else other I figure I can give up tuna.
