39 week exam ?
Got sent to labor and delivery yesterday due to high BP at my weekly check up. Doctor didn't do an internal I'm office as she said I would have one at hospital. So got to hospital, hooked up to monitors, having contractions every 3-4 min. BP came down to normal, no protein in urine. Doctor does internal and finally starting to dialate!! He said im between fingertip and 1. Anyway since them I've had some bleeding when I wipe. It's not red more of a brown color and only when wiping. I did have what looked like some clots yesterday but dr said it was normal and could even be part of my plug? My question is I'm still bleeding today when I wipe-still brown. Think I should call????

It doesn't hurt to make a call, my guess is it's from the internal. If it were red, i'd be more worried. GL!

Bleeding at the end is pretty normal, but I'd call just to check in. When your contractions become regular, or when your water breaks, they'll have you come in. Hope your bag is packed!!!

Bag is in the car. Still comtracting today, not regular. My fear is I've been contracting since week 35 due to irritable uterus. How will I know it's real?
Doctor also said he expects it to be in next few days and said he'd be surprised if I make it to my appt on Monday.

I haven't bled before. It's more like a spotting with tiny chunks TMI ugh the joys of pregnancy

When they are coming in regular intervals, they are real. They will also get more uncomfortable.

Yup. The bleeding/chunky stuff is normal, but probably means labor is near. That was true for me. Just watch those contractions and start timing them when they get more intense than normal.

I think my plug is coming out!! Have lost a few larger mucasy dark brown chunks since 1pm. Contractions arnt regular.
