Toy Kitchens
Looking into toy kitchens for my DD for Christmas. Should I get a plastic kitchen or a wooden kidkraft?? TIA!

Toy Kitchens
I'm planning to get DD a kidkraft wood kitchen for christmas. They have excellent reviews and I think they'll fit my personal needs. My biggest priority is storage space. I think wood has plastic beat in that area and I also find them more realistic. We have a hand me down plastic kitchen and I find it has a lot of wasted space and DD who is 18 months only really recognizes the sink. The wood one doesn't have sounds like our plastic one does but DD has a great imagination so I'm not worried about that. DD likes the one we have but does most of her "cooking" either on the floor or in the sink bc she can keep things from falling of the stove or counter.

I originally was thinking about getting DD a plastic one, but I really like your point about the storage - that's really important! I can't decide whether to get one for her for Chanukah when she's 18 months, or for her 2nd birthday.

I originally was thinking of getting my dd one for Christmas and I was torn on this. I saw a kidkraft one that was sooo cute at Costco... but then my mom brought up a point of not being able to truly clean a wood one. sooo, I may go with plastic. but i'm waiting until next year anyway. she'll only be 13.5 months this xmas
