I think I'm in denial about being pregnant.

This pregnancy was a complete shock. It took a number of fertility treatments to have my DS. I was told I can't get pregnant on my own.

I found out I was pregnant when we went for a consultation with my RE about trying for number 2.

I'm so happy and feel blessed. But I have been in complete shock.

I really don't "feel" pregnant. I'm 9 weeks and have 0 symptoms. With my DS I had nausea, my boobs grew an entire cup size, and I had massive bloat by this time.

I've told very few people (last time I wanted to tell the world) because I keep thinking this can't be true.

I've seen the baby on the sonogram, I heard the heartbeat, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around this.

I can't even post under my real screen name on here, because I'm just not quite ready to come out.

I keep thinking that this was too easy and it can't be real. There has to be a reason I have no symptoms...like its all a dream.

I don't want this to come across as though I'm not so happy, because I am. We wanted another one so badly. I just didn't think it was possible. Now that I know it is, I'm having a hard time believing its true.

Can anyone else relate?

I think I'm in denial about being pregnant.

I am 12 weeks, 5 days and felt the same exact way until my 12 week sonogram when I saw the baby again and it looked like a baby. I have no symptoms, all my clothes fit, and we have not really told anyone yet that we are pregnant. This pregnancy took 3 years so I still feel like if I get too excited about it, I will jinx it.

I think once you have your 12 week appointment, you will feel more at ease. It helped me feel a little bit better.

First of all that's amazing and I love hearing stories like this. It took 7 medicated cycles to have dd including 4 iuis and 2 rounds of ivf. I pray every day that our 2nd just happens.

Great news. Enjoy it.

I can relate - sorta opposite though. We got pregnant with dc 2 without trying. With dd 1 I had the perfect pregnancy - no symptoms, no complications....easy pregnancy and easy labor. I'm now 9+ weeks pregnant with #2 and have had a few issues already (feeling sick, low progesterone, major bleeding)....I'm in denial that I'm pregnant bc I'm nervous it's not going to last. Ill be more at ease after my nt scan

Congrats and try to enjoy being symptom free!!!

Re: I think I'm in denial about being pregnant.

I had zero symptoms with my 1st pregnancy, and this time I've had every symptom...so each pregnancy can definitely be different.

Congrats!! DH and I got pregnant on the 1st try both times...the 1st time we just figured we were incredibly lucky...this time I has a hard time believing it because I kept thinking there was NO WAY we'd be that lucky again.

Now at 20 weeks, it's still hard to believe at times, but I'm definitely excited and can't believe how fast the time is flying!

Congrats on your pregnancy! Every pregnancy is different even for same person - tons of symptoms for one and none for another. It's very common
I think it will feel more real after 12 week sono, it's so hard for you to realize you are pregnant bc took so long to get pregnant the first time

Hugs mama!
