Toddler or Nursery Program?

My DD turns 2 in Feb so in Sept 2014 I want to put her in a school program. Would she be in the toddler or nursery program? Do you have to be 3 to start Nursery?

Toddler or Nursery Program?

Most schools go by the district cut off date. So she would be starting a 2 year old program in September 2014 and turn 3 February 2015.

Re: Toddler or Nursery Program?

It depends on the nursery program's cut off. Most of them go by thr local school districts cut off date. The one DS is in has a cut off of 12/31. So as long as the kid will turn 3 before 12/31, they can start in September. DS turns 3 in a couple weeks, so he is one of the younger ones in his class. I was nervous about it, but he loves it so far!

Nursery/preschools usually follow their school district's cut-off date. If you're thinking about sending your DD in September, many schools will start registering soon. Click here to find out about CFA's programs for 2'sChat Icon CFA
