You have got to be kidding me....
I have a history of Kidney Stones and I have a 7mm Stone (pretty big) stuck in my ureter right by my bladder that isn't budging. Dr. put me on flomax and if I don't pass this sucker by Friday, I have to go under general anesthesia so they can go up my urethra, through my bladder and into my ureter to laser the crap outta this thing and pull it out in pieces. They may even have to put a stent in depending on how big the fragments are.
REALLY??? I need this now? The good thing is with the way my IVF cycle is going, I shouldn't be starting meds until Saturday the 26th which would be the day after. So the drugs and all wouldn't affect the follicles because my ovaries should still be quiet at that point from the BCP. I may ask the Dr. at my Appt wednesday if we can move the start of meds to Sunday or Monday just so I have time to recoup from the surgery.
Urologist said it's good I'm not pregnant yet because if I were, this would be a very serious matter. There is no other way to get this out and all this could have affected the fetus. So I guess the saying is true... Things happen (or don't happen) for a reason.

Thanks everyone. It's never just one thing. I am always juggling multiple issues at once. It's so exhausting!
Thankfully right now I am not in any real pain. It's in a position where it's close to going into my bladder. Once it hits the bladder, it doesn't hurt until it comes out. And that pain is usually pretty quick.
I'm just hoping it comes out on it's own within this week. I am really in no mood to go for surgery Friday. I'm usually pretty ok with Anesthesia but just the thought of the whole process is too much right now. I wanted to devote all of my energy to IVF. And now I can't.
