looking for a fun vacation with 3 year old
Due to some health issues, I'd like to stay in the US but still have beach weather in the Spring. My son likes to do mini golf, pools, and sports stuff. I'm not looking for any place with a camp or babysitting service. Any ideas? We did Turks and Caicos twice already but like I said we'd like to stay in the US

maybe Myrtle Beach, SC? We go down there each year. Not sure when in spring you're looking to go but I have been there in early May and its nice there. Tons of mini golf places since its basically a huge golfing destination.

I was going to recommend this - a guy in my office goes there and likes it (he says it's a step below Beaches T&C but, he's gone a few times).
ETA - I enjoy Myrtle Beach as well though and I think your DS would love it. There are some students at Coastal Carolina University that babysit - we have done that in the past.

Club Med is a great option. I also LOVE Myrtle Beach and Ocean City Maryland. I've had amazing family vacations at both locations with children as young as 4 months old all the way up to college students and older with parents and grandparents as well.
You could also do a Florida Beach vacation or Disney, there is so much to do in the Disney area that you do not need to spend the whole time at the parks.
One of my favorite vacations ever was staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge and doing all of the activities at the resort, playing mini golf at the Disney properties and renting a boat and spending time at the pool. We did the Disney parks as well but the highlights of the trip were definitely the resort. If you rent a car it opens up a whole world of possibilities as well with a never ending supply of mini golf courses!
