Varicella shot
Hi ladies,
Did anyone get the Varicella shot before getting pregnant? How long did you wait if you did? TIA

Crashing, but I was told I needed to wait three months to TTC after getting the Varicella vaccine.

thank you! did you take the shot? I got the shot as a kid but I guess it wore off... not sure what to do.

My RE said I needed to get it one month before my cycle started, but we were about to start so I did not have the necessary time. Needless to say, I never got it..... I too got the shot when I was younger, but I have no antibodies against it.

They can give you the shot in the hospital after you have the baby. I got the shot when I was a kid but when they did bloodwork at the hospital, they discovered that I was no longer immune. They offered me the shot before I was discharged.

If you had the chickenpox, you are supposedly immune for life. I never did.. I ended up getting the shot when I was younger. They repeated some blood work on me and told me the I have no antibodies.

Yes, I had the shot years ago but apparently wasn't "immune" so they made me do it again.

I had chicken pox. Just got my blood work back from my doctor and I'm not immune anymore. But now I'm preggo so I can't get it until after
