6 months. he didnt fit into the bucket anymore. his shoulders were wedged in there and he was already 28 inches.

My older one we switched at 7 mos. My LO is now 12 mos and still in the carrier - but we do not take it in and out of car. She has plenty of room in it still, so I am in no particular rush. But I will be getting the convertible seat soon - just have to get around to purchasing it!!
