When did you give DD Barbie Dolls?
DD will be 2 1/2 around Christmas... I saw some Barbies that say 3+...she's played w/ them at our friends house and seemed to like it, but she had older girls helping her.

DD received a Barbie doll and the corvette when she was 3 from my mom. I would have personally held off until 4 or 5. It barely gets played with.

I requested no Barbies until age 5. Of course, when my older DD turned 5, her sister was 3.5...
I doubt that a 3 year old could change the clothes, etc and my niece had Barbies from around 2 or 3 and they were always naked with messed up hair and since I had such fond memories of playing with Barbies, I didn't want that scene going on at my house.

Thanks, I was surprised the age was 3+....I think we'll stick with little people for now and wait a year on Barbies!
The last thing I need are a bunch of naked Barbies lying around!

3 but she enjoyed them more at 4
She got the camper van and can play with it for hours, but isn't so much into the dressing them yet.

My DD got some baries for her 2nd birthday. She was 2 in July. She loves to play with Barbie in the bath.
