How do u deal with these type of in laws?
We had dinner with my bro in law over the weekend and dh kept taking ds out of my arms and handing him over to his bro and sis in law so they could "bond." I was alarmed when dh's bro flipped ds upside down but dh ought this was fine even though in the process of doing so, he almost knocked me over (I'm almost 30 wks pregnant) and elbowed his other nephew in the head. I feel like dh's bro gets carried away with ds and if I say anything, they say that they don't see ds often and just want to play with him more. What would you do?

Re: How do u deal with these type of in laws?
I dont have any advice because I feel like I am in the same boat. We go over my in-laws and my dh hands over the infant carrier to his sister the moment we walk in the door. I know he wants them to be "close" and involved as much as my family but right now I really only trust my mom to watch him while I am at work. Im an RN in a hospital for 12 hours a day. Sometimes I can only call to check in once or twice a day so I need someone I can trust 100%.
The problem for you is dh doesnt think its a big deal. So you are gonna have to say something. My mom says to always make a little joke out of it if I want to say something but not want people to get offended. Say something like I wouldnt do that he is going to vomit on yoy. If he says no it will be ok. You can be more serious and say please just dont flip him. I dont want him getting sick. Its not like you are taking him away and they can still play just not so rough.

I would say it in a nice way but i wouldnt make it jokey becsuse thats very passive aggressive and they wont take you seriously.
When the moment presents itself i would say in a nice way, i would appreciate it if you didnt flip him upside down. It makes him dizzy and nausaous. I dont want him to throw up it would be such a favor to me..thanks.
