day care- I can't afford a nanny. My mom is also watching the baby 2 days a week at least until I can find a new job that pays more.

Re: childcare
With my first I did a family daycare. However, with this one, I will probably have a babysitter come to the house, that way I don't have to pay for before and after school for DS1 and a daycare!

Bringing the baby to work with me after mat leave until the end of the school year when my mom will be able to watch the baby for the summer. Then we'll have to put the baby in daycare.

Re: childcare
I've done both, small family daycare and now a babysitter. There are pros and cons to each but overall I love having the babysitter. From my experience neither has to be terribly exspensive if you do your research. Now with #2 on the way I'm very happy to not have to take two out of the house in the morning.
