Is there a stomach virus going around

DD has the strangest "virus ". On and off diarrhea and vomiting. In between she's fine. Can't explain. Not a typical virus.

My DS (and me) have had the lovely diarrhea part the last day or so. He is 11 months and has gone so much that if he even sees me going near his diaper he screams bloody murder and runs or crawls away. He's so raw despite all the ointment I put on and I feel Terrible! I'm hoping it's only a 24 hour bug.

But no fever, no vomiting, and he's fine once he gives himself a few minutes after the diaper change.

Yes. Many of my FB friends have whole families down for the count. Even had plans cancelled on us this past weekend.

My friend had 2 kids with diarrhea for almost a week with no fever or other symptoms. They felt healthy. Testing ruled out food posioning. Ped told her it was a virus.

Omg my dd has had diarrhea for the past 2 days or so. I keep yhinking it's from teething bc she's got like 4 teeth coming in at once. Maybe it a virus!

Yes...All three of my kids had it last Monday/Tuesday. Luckily it was very fast moving. We just have vomiting a few times and feeling good in between. This is the second time the stomach virus has hit out household since labor day. I hope this is not a sign of what the winter has to come.

My sister and her 1 yo twins had it. (One of the twins only had diarrhea.) My sis had it for 24 hrs, but the twins had loose stools for almost a week and the one had vomiting for a day. My sister initially thought she had food poisoning, but when she called me in a panic about her son puking, I told her that she probably caught a GI virus and her kids now had it.

Then my dad and mom caught it from them. (My dad had fever and vomiting, my mom had the diarrhea but no other symptoms.) My dad thought it was food poisoning, but both my mom and I figured he just caught the bug from my sister's family.

They were kind enough to bring it to my home because we watched the twins one day this week and my 3 year old ended up with it this past weekend (Fri - Sun.) He had vomiting and a fever.

I'm crossing my fingers that I (at 33 weeks pregnant), nor my other two kids get it.

wow, DD puked last night in her crib (1130, that was fun) and had a very loose poop at the same time. She was FINE this AM. Thought it was a fluke. Sent her to daycare. There was literally nothing wrong with her. Wonder if it is a virus?

She is teething and has bad reflux so she sometimes coughs and pukes from the reflux but maybe it is viral. hmmmmm

We are on day 4 of the diarrhea... Dd acts completely fine otherwise... No fever, vomiting, pain etc... Really strange.
