What's the difference between the Dreams and Wonder? I noticed there's a huge price difference.

Re: Disney Ships
First AGE Wonder is the oldest in the fleet.
It goes Wonder, Magic, Dream and Fantasy. Dream I believe was introduced in 2010.
Next is size, Wonder holds approx 2500 guests and Dream is about 4000.
I have heard that the food is better on the Dream. But I have never been on the Wonder. Wonder is considered one of hte "classic" ships! So obviously there will be some variation in amenities as well.

There are no split bathrooms on the Wonder. The split bathroom is so nice. Sink and tub/shower in one room, sink and toilet in another. The ship is smaller, and I've read that the stabilizers aren't as good as the ones on the newer ships. That means feeling of more movement. No Aquaduck (water coaster). No magic portholes in the inside staterooms.

Was on Dream in July. Gorgeous! Everything seemed new, in pristine condition. I only felt movement in our room a few times. It was my first cruise. I loved it. Wish I could tell you about Wonder...

If price is a factor, the Magic just finished a huge refurbishment! They have the Aquadunk and many other nice, new things! The rooms are all redone nicely as well. It mostly sails out of Miami I believe, but some Port Canaveral dates came up in my search recently for February.

Re: Disney Ships
Dream and Fantasy are the newer ships. Wonder and Magic are the older original ships. Magic was just refurbished this year so everything should also be new on their ship.
We plan to do the Bahamian Dream cruise early 2014. It is our first cruise with the boys so we are doing the shorter cruise.
