Meals ideas for 9 month old

I am trying to go from purees to finger foods and looking for ideas for DD.
Can you please post what you feed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

Thanks!

I try to give cut up fruit at every meal. In addition, here are some of my recent go to's:

Breakfast
> silver dollar pancakes
> waffles
> french toast sticks
> cheerios
> yogurt

Lunch
> string cheese
> grilled cheese
> sliced turkey
> english muffin w/ jam

Dinner
> trader joe's turkey meatballs
> chicken nuggets
> fish sticks
> dr. pragers potato broccoli bites
> steamed carrots or other veggies

Thanks for the suggestions.

Do you put anything on the pancakes, waffles, french toast? I tried givibg DD pancakes and I felt like they were so dry she was almost gagging.

How do you make the grilled cheese?

I always put a little butter on them for DD. You could also try a little applesauce if you prefer. DD also loves scrambled eggs with a little cheese mixed in for breakfast.

For grilled cheese, I slice up some cheddar and put it on a slice of bread and pop it in the toaster oven. Super quick and easy and a little smaller than a full grilled cheese. I also do a lot of quesadillas with a small tortilla and a little cheese, fold in half, and brown with a touch of olive oil. Another favorite lunch for her is some sliced ham with crackers on the side. She always has yogurt with her lunch as well as some fruit.

Breakfast: oatmeal with ghee and salt, kefir smoothie or eggs.

Lunch is chicken with rice or lentils with rice

Dinner is whatever we are eating.

Dr. Praegers spinach or broccoli pancakes
Homemade meatballs
Chicken soup (thickened up from the pasta so like finger food)
Jam on bread
Pieces of chicken cutlet
Avocado
Hummus on bread
Sweet potatoes "fries"
Baked apple w cinnamon
Coconut yogurt (dd allergic to milk)
Basically anything we are eating!

No, I don't put anything on the pacncakes, waffles or French toast. I just break them up into small pieces and let DD feed herself. My nanny makes the grilled cheese, so while I haven't seen it, I imagine it's pretty standard with bread/cheese and pan fried.

Re: Meals ideas for 9 month old

i'm glad you posted this. dd is 11 months and is veryyy slow transitioning to finger/table foods. she's super picky and I feel lost lol

she does like the "potato croquets" from uncle guiseppe's. it's basically shaped like a big fat mozzarella stick, breaded on the outside with mashed potato on the inside.

she also loves LOVES Italian bread with a little bit of butter.
tonight I tried a piece of Italian bread, a homemade chicken meatball plus some pureed veggies.

my sister said my niece loved nutrigrain bars, so I got those to try to give her.
