Spinoff to American Girl doll post
Does anyone have any of the other brand dolls similar to the AG ones? DD has an AG doll but I don't think I'm ready to add to her collection just yet until she shows a little more interest in her doll (she will be 4 next week). I was thinking to get her one of the other ones instead since they cost less because I also think she might be bored just playing with the one doll  . If you do have one of the other brands, which one and do you like it?

I have heard that Target has a similar line of dolls that are great and cheap!

Target sells Our Generation dolls and Toys R Us also sells similar dolls for less than AG dolls. They are fine dolls. DD has some of the target accessories. I can't justify spending what AG asks for everything. I will be honest though, the quality of the clothing is not the same as the AG clothing but it is perfectly fine and fits well.

I buy our generation clothes and accessories for our AG doll all the time! Frankly, the target clothes are cuter and I can but 6 outfits for the price of one American girl outfit!!

The quality of the Our Generation clothing is awful. The threads were coming out the day we got them. I do like their accessories and shoes though. The Camper is sooo cute!
