Remind me .. When you book a Disney hotel..
You have to pay it all up by time you go? Or do you pay in full when you check out?
For some reason I recall pre-paying everything but I may be wrong.
Wanted some answers or insight first before I do anything.

We just got back. Disney charged me 1 night deposit at time of booking. Then they charged me the total room cost at check in. When we checked out, they charged my credit card for all the charges we made at the parks and resort. HTH.

You need to pay a deposit when you book and i thought you had to have it paid in full 45 days before

Remind me .. When you book a Disney hotel..
If you book as a room only, you pay one night deposit, rest at check in. If you add park tickets to that or a dining plan, thus turning it into a package, you pay deposit and the rest within 45 days of travel. We typically book a room only with a discount, and buy the tix separate form a discounter.
ETA If you have a room only reservation and want to pay it all off before you check in, they will gladly take your money over the phone.

Yes I just found this out yesterday. So it seems, unless you get an extra discount doing a "package" just do a room only. You will be charged the first night only and pay the balance when you get there. Otherwise it's 45 days prior to arrival.

I just booked Saturday. It was $200 deposit and the rest 45 days prior to arrival. This was for room, 2 days park tix and meal plan.

That is incorrect. The above applies for a package. Room only you are charged one night in advance. The rest is charged on check in day. It is supposed to be at check in the rest is due but a warning. Many report that their booking card was charged that morning before they actually checked in. I believe those had completed an online check in but not positive.
