What did you get your dc for their 1st birthday
I'm having trouble figuring out what to get my dd for her first bday...there are plenty of toys I could get but I was looking for more of something that she could have for years to come or even when she's older know that was from her 1st birthday
Any ideas?

We got our DD a gold charm bracelet with her first charm. It is adjustable so she was able to wear it as a baby and she can add links if she wants to wear it as an adult.

Bday dress and sweater
Warm fleece jacket for winter
Hair bows
American girl Bitty Baby
Another idea for you - what about a little pearl bracelet keepsake? I got a beautiful one on etsy for my DDs baptism. When I was younger someone (parents or godparents) got me a gold bracelet and I wore it proud for so many years and still have it.
Ps love the growth chart idea!!!!!

What did you get your dc for their 1st birthday
We got DD a little workbench like daddy's, a puzzle, and a kids camelbak water bottle. She also got a personalized name puzzle, a ballerina snow globe with her name, a step 2 climber, and dolls embroidered with her name.
MIL always gives her books and writes a long note inside the cover. That would be something cute that you could do that she could always have to look back on.
