Flying
Has anyone flown very early into their pregnancy? Going away in a few weeks and it is "possible" I may be pregnant. Just getting nervous now about our trip. It is a long flight as well. When I say early I mean like 5 weeks along!

Re: Flying
I personally haven't but at that early a lot of people don't even know they're pregnant yet so they do things that most pregnant woman probably wouldn't and they're come out ok in the end. My friend found out she was pregnant a few days after NYE and had been drinking like a fish!
The only thing I can think is if you get MS immediately, then you just might be nauseous from the plane and all

Re: Flying
Flew at 5 weeks, drove 9 hours (twice) at 9-10 weeks, flew at 22 and 23 weeks and flew at 31 or so weeks. Everything is fine. If the flight is longer than a couple hours try to walk around a bit (to and from the bathroom is fine), and stay hydrated.

I didn't fly that early but I wouldn't have thought twice. I'm flying in 2 weeks at 19 weeks and again not thinking twice about it. I just made sure to get an aisle seat so I can get up easily to walk if need be.

Re: Flying
I flew at 7 weeks (NC) and 8 weeks (Aruba). Two summer vacations back to back, lol. I asked my doctor because I was also concerned about the security checks since I'd be going through it MANY times with customs, etc. She said it was fine and sure enough I'm almost 15 weeks and all is going well. Good luck!
